In this conversation, Javier Limón examines the creative musical process in all its aspects. Javier’s work as a producer has been similar to that of an architect. From managing the budget, the creative side, the handling of equipment, and the marketing of the product, to dealing with artists and the composition of the musical piece itself, there are many diverse scenarios that the musical producer must develop in order to ensure a good project, and to, with a little luck, meet expectations. To explain this creative process, Javier will use a real example starting from the creation of the song in the composer's room to the globalization, digitalization and marketing of a song at all levels, a process full of details and stages that show us the depth and complexity of musical creation today.   Javier Limón (born 1973) is a record producer, singer and songwriter born and raised in Madrid, Spain. Limón has worked with several artists, primarily from Spain, since he incorporates elements of flamenco rhythm into his work. Since 2004, Limón has received 10 Latin Grammy Awards. Javier Limón serves as the Artistic Director of the Berklee College of Music's Mediterranean Music Institute, which operates in Valencia, Spain as well as Boston, Massachusetts.
