The Rafael del Pino Foundation aims to contribute to the defense of Hispanic cultural heritage and fostering the growing importance of the Spanish language as a vehicle of communication in the world. Therefore, it has provided the "Rafael del Pino Scholarship at the Observatory of Spanish language and Hispanic cultures in the United States," with the aim of studying, creating prospective analysis and diagnosing the status of the Spanish language in the United States and in the world, with particular attention to its social, cultural and linguistic evolution.
