The Cervantes Institute at Harvard University invites researchers who are beginning their professional career to submit papers to share with the academic community. This invitation is extended to students, professors, and to anyone interested in the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. Proposals may be submitted by:

  • Undergraduate students in their last year pursuing studies in any subject broadly related to the Hispanic cultures.
  • Graduate students interested in sharing significant results from their academic work.
  • Ph.D. students interested in sharing findings from their doctoral research.
  • Recent Ph.D.’s who want to share the results of their doctoral dissertation.
  • Recently graduated Ph.D.’s interested in sharing the results of their work.
  • Professors of language or any other subject related to Hispanic cultures.

Subjects to be considered must be related to Hispanic cultures, and may include, among others:

  • Philology and Linguistics
  • Literature
  • History
  • Art
  • Anthropology
  • Sociology and Politics
  • Psychology
  • Education and Teaching
  • Economy
  • Philosophy

Those interested should send the registration form, along with the requested data, indicating the title of the work they want to present, as well as a summary of a maximum of 200 words. The deadline for submission of proposals and abstracts is March 19, 2017.
