The Instituto Cervantes Observatorio co-sponsors the Student Research Awards, the Latino Studies Working Group, and other activities related to Latino Studies or Latino students organized by Harvard's Committee on Ethnicity, Migration, Rights. The EMR focuses on several core areas including studies of ethnicity, indigeneity, migration, and human rights as well as Asian American, Latino, and Native American Studies. The Committee also offers undergraduates two secondary field pathways—one in EMR and another in Latino Studies.
