As a supporting institution, we are pleased to announce “Images of Mexico: A Glimpse into Mexico’s Past and Present”, an event organized by HUMAS (Harvard University Mexican Association of Students), taking place on Monday, April 7.

Throughout this academic year, HUMAS has aimed to create a platform for voices traditionally underrepresented in Mexico. As part of this initiative, they have organized the two-part event “Images of Mexico: A Glimpse into Mexico’s Past and Present”, which marks the opening of an exhibition showcasing 35 posters created by Mexican students in collaboration with the design departments of Universidad IBERO, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), and Universidad de las Américas Puebla. These works highlight some of the most pressing social and political issues in Mexico.

As shown in the event program, the event consists of two main parts:

- The Symposium, held in Sever Hall 113, Harvard Yard, beginning at 3:00 p.m.

- The Exhibition Opening, hosted by the EMR Department at 1100 Massachusetts Ave, 2nd floor (approximately a 5-minute walk from the symposium venue). The opening begins at 6:00 p.m.
